Inklusio Oy is proud to be a partner in the Erasmus+ project ACT NOW, a European initiative focused on strengthening democratic values, media literacy, and social inclusion through education.

About the Project

ACT NOW is a small-scale Erasmus+ partnership in adult education that brings together organisations from Germany, Finland, Italy, and Türkiye to address the growing impact of disinformation and far-right ideologies in Europe.

The project focuses on empowering educators, youth workers, and community leaders with practical tools to promote critical thinking, tolerance, and inclusion.

Objectives

  • Strengthen media literacy and critical thinking skills

  • Support educators in addressing disinformation and harmful ideologies

  • Promote democratic values, tolerance, and social responsibility

  • Develop practical, interactive learning approaches (including drama and participatory methods)

  • Build sustainable European cooperation networks

Inklusio’s Role

As a partner, Inklusio Oy plays a key role in both quality assurance and training delivery.

We contribute by:

  • Leading quality management to ensure all outputs meet Erasmus+ standards

  • Hosting an international training in Espoo, Finland focused on:

    • inclusive education methods

    • media literacy

    • participatory learning approaches

  • Supporting partners with Erasmus+ implementation experience

  • Contributing to the development of digital learning materials

  • Young people at risk of exclusion

Activities

The project includes:

  • International trainings and partner meetings

  • A 4-month Training of Trainers programme

  • Workshops using interactive and drama-based methods

  • Development of:

    • Media literacy training materials

    • Digital learning modules

  • Local and international dissemination events

Expected Impact

  • Improved skills of educators in addressing disinformation and extremism

  • Increased critical thinking and awareness among young people

  • Stronger support systems for migrants and marginalised communities

  • Long-term integration of project methods into partner organisations
